The cold side of noodles

No soup.
No problem.
More flavour.

Cold abura soba is about what happens at the bottom of the bowl: a fragrant sauce waiting to coat every strand of noodle.

Instead of a soup-heavy bowl, the experience is concentrated around noodles, aromatic oil and sauce, then lifted with toppings for freshness, crunch and contrast. The result is lighter on the palate while still delivering a deeply savoury finish.

The bowl,
deconstructed.

Three simple elements create the experience: cold noodles with bite, a flavourful base and toppings that make every mouthful different.

Noodles
01 · THE NOODLE

Cold & Springy

Chilled noodles give the bowl its clean, refreshing character while keeping that satisfying noodle bite.

Japanese sauce and toppings
02 · THE BASE

Fragrant & Savoury

Aromatic sauce and oil sit underneath the noodles, ready to become the flavour of every strand once mixed.

Fresh toppings
03 · THE TOP

Fresh & Textured

Scallions, sesame, egg, seaweed, vegetables and other toppings add contrast from first bite to last.

How to eat it

Mix until every
noodle gets a
little love.

The sauce is waiting underneath. Grab your chopsticks, reach down and mix from the bottom until the noodles are glossy and evenly coated. Then add your preferred toppings and start slurping.

01Mix deep. Bring the sauce from the bottom all the way through the noodles.
02Customize. Add chilli, vinegar or extra toppings to make the bowl your own.
03Eat immediately. Cold soba is best enjoyed while the noodles are fresh and springy.
